No — DoseTrack works fully offline. An account is optional and only adds cross-device sync and caregiver sharing; your medications, schedules, and dose history stay on your device unless you choose to sign in.
DoseTrack asks for notification permission during onboarding (or the first time you open the app after signing in with Apple or Google). If you skipped it or want to check your status, go to Settings → Notifications in the app, or enable notifications for DoseTrack in your iPhone's system Settings → Notifications.
DoseTrack Plus is our optional paid subscription. It unlocks unlimited medications (the free tier includes your first 5), PDF adherence reports, caregiver mode (managing someone else's medications), the medication scanner beyond the free scans, and custom app icons. It's available as a monthly or annual auto-renewing subscription with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers, and can be cancelled any time in iOS Settings.
Both are in Settings. CSV export is always free and available to everyone. Deleting your data is permanent and immediate — there's no undo, so make sure you've exported anything you want to keep first.
