Every day

Today, at a glance.

One screen shows what you've taken, what's coming, and how the day is tracking. Mark a dose taken from the notification itself — Take, Skip or Snooze, without opening the app.

  • Reminders on iPhone and Apple Watch
  • Flexible schedules — daily, weekly, every-N-days, as-needed, or tied to Wake Up, meals and Bedtime
  • Group reminders, so everything due at once arrives as one alert
  • Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets
DoseTrack's Today screen showing 3 of 5 doses taken and two upcoming medications.
Your medications

Add a medication by pointing your camera at the box.

The scanner reads the name, strength, supply and dose, so you're not typing a prescription label by hand. Each medication gets its own colour, and you can attach a reference photo so there's no doubt which pill is which.

  • Colour-coded medications with reference photos
  • E-Script QR storage for pharmacy pickup
  • Pills, supplements, liquids and more

Restock

Know you're running out before you run out.

DoseTrack counts your remaining supply down in days, not guesses, and colour-codes anything getting close. Running out of a medication on a Sunday night is a solvable problem — this is how it gets solved.

  • Days of supply left, per medication
  • Clear warning bands as stock runs low
  • Free on every tier — never paywalled

History

An honest record, ready for your next appointment.

See adherence by week, month or a custom range, as a chart or a calendar, broken down by medication. Export it as CSV whenever you like — and with Plus, as a polished PDF report you can hand to a doctor.

  • Overall and per-medication adherence
  • Chart and calendar views
  • CSV export free; PDF doctor reports with Plus
The History screen showing 100% overall adherence, a weekly chart and a per-medication breakdown.

Your medication data stays yours.

DoseTrack is local-first. No account is required, and what you record never leaves your device unless you choose to sign in. Signing in adds cross-device sync and caregiver sharing — but nothing is forced, and you can export everything at any time.

Notifications never show your dose or pill count on the lock screen, and you can hide medication names from them entirely.

Common questions

Do I need an account?
No. DoseTrack works fully without one, and your data stays on your device. An account is only needed if you want cross-device sync or to manage a loved one's medications.
Will the reminders actually go off?
That's the thing the app is built around. Reminders are scheduled locally on your device and fire on both iPhone and Apple Watch, so they don't depend on a server being up or a network connection.
Will my medications show on my lock screen?
Never the dose or pill count. And if you'd rather not see medication names either, you can hide them from notifications entirely in Settings.
What happens after 5 medications?
The first five are free forever, with no time limit and no feature stripped out. Adding a sixth needs DoseTrack Plus, which starts with a 7-day free trial.
Can I get my data out?
Yes, at any time. CSV export is free. Plus adds a formatted PDF adherence report designed to hand to a doctor.
Can I manage medications for a parent or partner?
Yes — caregiver sharing is part of DoseTrack Plus, and lets you manage a loved one's medications remotely.
Is there an Android version?
Not yet. DoseTrack is currently iPhone and Apple Watch only, and needs iOS 17 or later.
DoseTrack is not a medical device. It helps you remember and record doses; it does not provide medical advice, and it should not be used as your only safeguard for a critical medication. Always follow the directions from your doctor or pharmacist. Read the full disclaimer →
